Final paper submission process

1. Register for the conference.
2. Submit the signed copyright form.
3. Submit the manuscripts.

1. Register for the conference

• Complete the registration form, either online on the ICST website or via fax/mail (instructions and form: word, pdf). Your paper will not be included in the proceedings unless you have successfully registered.
  
• After you have registered for the conference, you will be sent an upload location within 2-3 business days. At the upload location, you will be asked to submit your paper either in Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, LaTex or PDF format. Additionally, you will be provided with a site for the ACM copyright form. Note that, in case PDF is used as the camera-ready submission format, then the manuscript must be in accordance with the ACM requirements and must include the ISBN numbers (see below). Thus, we suggest to use PDF only as a last resort if submission using any format fails.
• Please, note that your registration takes up to 48 hours for the bank to process so please do not expect the upload web address immediately. If you do not receive the upload location within 3 days, please contact
• Each accepted paper must be accompanied with one full, non-student registration, even if all co-authors of the paper are students. One registration covers two papers of those authors who have multiple papers accepted.

2. Submit the signed copyright form

3. Submit your manuscripts

• Final manuscripts must be submitted by August 4, 2006  August 13, 2006 August 28, 2006  
• We allow a maximum of 10 pages in the proceedings for regular papers, and 8 pages for work-in-progress papers , including all figures, tables and references. If you require additional space, a maximum of 2 additional pages may be acquired for Euro 80/USD 102 per page. Please plan ahead on the number of pages of your camera-ready manuscripts, and cover the extra-page charges during the registration process when you fill out the registration form.
• Please prepare your camera-ready manuscripts using the standard two-column ACM format, with detailed guidelines downloadable at http://www.x-cd.com/valuetools06/guidelines.cfm. Please, fill the bottom box in the paper front page using the following values:
  • Conference name: Valuetools'06, October 11-13, 2006, Pisa, Italy.
  • Copyright number (LaTeX \crdata{}): 1-59593-504-5.
